Will my panel handle an EV charger?
Many 200A panels can. Older or smaller panels may need a load-management device or a panel upgrade. We check before we quote, so there are no surprises.
Should I get a hardwired charger or a plug-in outlet?
Hardwired chargers are usually more reliable at higher amperage. A NEMA 14-50 outlet is handy if you might take the charger with you when you move.
How long does an EV charger install take?
Most garage installs are done in a few hours. Longer wire runs or panel work can take a full day.
Which charger should I buy?
Most Level 2 chargers work well. Tell us your car and panel size and we'll recommend one that fits, or we'll install the one you already bought.
Do you install EV chargers for businesses?
Yes. We install chargers for businesses, apartment properties and fleets across East Texas, including any service or panel work they need.
